(Sept. 12, 2025) – The American Board of Pathology (ABPath) announces a call for applicants to join the new ABPath CertLink Item Writing Committee, a vital volunteer opportunity supporting the pathology community through the development of high-quality assessment items (questions) for the CertLink platform. The ABPath CertLink® (ABPCL) Item Writing Committee accepts applications from outstanding early career pathologists, as well as seasoned pathologists. About the Opportunity The Item Writing Committee plays a crucial role in advancing pathology education and continuing certification by creating new assessment questions for ABPath CertLink that maintain the rigorous standards expected of board-certified pathologists. This volunteer position offers qualified professionals the opportunity to contribute directly to the continuing education and certification of their peers. Committee appointments are for one-year terms, renewable for up to three years based on performance criteria including quality of work, adherence to deadlines, meeting participation, and collaborative engagement.
