Designed for pathologists and lab professionals who need to understand the fundamentals of digital pathology technology NOW.

This workshop will focus on the practical issues surrounding the deployment of digital pathology in a hospital setting. Eight lectures by national experts will be punctuated by roundtable discussions including industry representatives and a guided tour of the Henry Ford Health System anatomic pathology labs. Topics covered will include the fundamentals of digital pathology, the integration of the technology with LISs, the enhancement of AP workflow using LEAN principles, and the development of an RFP for purchasing digital pathology equipment.
