Become a Member of API

You are invited to join the Association for Pathology Informatics (API), a new scientific society focused on Pathology Informatics. Pathology informatics is an increasingly recognized, rapidly developing discipline of pathology and laboratory medicine. It involves the study of software, databases, and statistics, and the application of methods to understand, model and manipulate data that pertains to pathobiological processes. In order to meet the educational, collaborative, research, and publishing needs of this unique community, it is necessary to create an association devoted to the needs and interests of pathology informatics.

We hope that you will be interested in joining API, and play an active role in the formation and development of this new association.

Please complete the application form. With your participation, this association will evolve into the primary advocacy group for pathology informatics, providing for the development of national and international collaborations, specialty training programs, and increased integration of Informatics into pathology research and practice.
