POSTDOCTORAL ASSOCIATE, LABORATORY OF COMPUTATIONAL IMAGING AND INFORMATICS

Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Fellow / Research Scientist position at the Laboratory of Computational Imaging and Informatics (http://lcib.rutgers.edu/lcib/jobs), Rutgers University in the area of Biomedical Image Analysis and especially multi-modal image registration, shape-based modeling and segmentation, and high dimensional data classification and visualization. The Laboratory for Computational Imaging and Bioinformatics (LCIB) which boats over 30 personnel (graduate students, post-docs, undergrads, research faculty) provides a unique interdisciplinary research environment with internationally recognized collaborators from Medicine, Biology, Mathematics, and Engineering. The position entails research in computer-aided diagnosis for detection of prostate and breast cancer on multi-parametric imaging and digital pathology, in collaboration with researchers from the Cancer Institute of New Jersey, Robert Wood Johnson Hospital, NJ, Boston Medical Center, The University of Pennsylvania Medical Center, Philadelphia, PA, MD Anderson Cancer Center, University of Buffalo Medical Center, and the University of California San Francisco. The candidate will benefit from mentorship of a diverse research and clinical team and will be exposed to cutting-edge technology.
