Emory has an immediate opening for a laboratory information systems analyst with expertise in CoPathPlus. We use Cerner’s version, but would be willing to interview analysts with experience using Sunquest’s version.

Experienced CoPath Plus Consultant Needed
Temporary Position
Duration: 6-12  months
 
Maintenance Activities
·         Maintenance dictionary edits and entries
·         Conduct end user training
·         Identify and provide printer and printer locations
·         Maintain application-specific security based on client supplied
guidelines.

Second Level Application Support
·         Answer questions regarding application during regular business
hours
·         Provide troubleshooting expertise and problem resolution
·         Recommend short-term and long-term alternative resolutions to
problems
·         Follow Cerner’s policies for handling patient data
·         Provide Client with monthly service reports
·         Provide accurate problem description and example. Provide point
of contact that can verify request is complete
·         Provide internal Client help desk that serves as initial point of
contact for end users
 
Operations Management
·         Monitor schedule manager and purge job activity to ensure jobs
complete successfully
·         Set up and review purges and schedule manager jobs
·         Provide schedule manager and purge criteria
·         Set purge retention
·         Develop and modify management reports to meet departmental needs
·         Create and modify specimen reports
·         Modify dictionaries per change control
·         Create and modify synoptic reports
·         Add fat clients
·         Add and troubleshoot  Pics Plus
·         Add engravers/slide etchers/Printers
·         Troubleshoot Bond interface for Immuno/Histochemical stains
·         Assist with Code upgrade (write test scripts-assist in testing)
·         Assist with implementation of Advanced Barcoding and Tracking module
