Assistant/Associate/Professor – Informatics, Pathology

The Department of Pathology at the University of Illinois Hospital & Health Sciences System is currently seeking an M.D. at the Assistant/Associate/Professor level who can assist the Director within the Division of Pathology Informatics to expand and strengthen the informatics program.  This person will assist in providing direction for the Department’s laboratory information systems, digital imaging program, active learning curriculum for residents, graduate students, the Clinical Informatics fellows, and consultative services and Outreach Program. The position requires close interaction with the University and Hospital Information Services.  The incumbent will be expected to maintain active practice and credentialing in an area of anatomic and/or clinical pathology service. Current medical license, board certification in AP/CP, AP or CP as well as successful completion of a fellowship or post-doctoral training in clinical/pathology informatics is required.  Special consideration will be given to those with demonstrated experience in teaching and the development of an informatics curriculum.  Academic title and rank will commensurate to experience.
