Dear Dr. Moore,

Congratulations! It is with great pleasure that I write to inform you that the Association for Pathology Informatics has selected you as its Honorary Fellow for 2007. This award is in recognition of individuals that have made significant contributions to the development of pathology informatics as a clinical and academic subspecialty of pathology.

Given your pioneering contributions to pathology informatics over the years, I find this as no surprise. I consider it a tremendous honor to be able to present this award to you in person at the Advancing Practice, Instruction and Innovation through Informatics meeting in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, September 9-12. It is our intention to present the award to you at the APIII award dinner beginning 6:30 PM on Tuesday, September 11, 2007.

My sincerest congratulations on this most deserved honor!

Best Wishes,

Ulysses J. Balis, MD, President
